The Job

Senior Art Lead

2013 - 2014

I was recruited by WildTangent to develop original mobile IP (both MSRP and F2P) and to help mold the production pipeline of a new mobile game studio. I exercised several areas of my expertise (game design, animation, UI/UX) and pitched visual concepts for multiple prototypes my very first week on the job. Key among these was Word Science, a Starbucks/iTunes Pick of the Week.

The Work

Word Science

WildTangent Studios

Summary: I handled all art, animation, and UX/UI tasks for this fast-paced casual game. Sim-shipped to iOS, Android, and Kindle.

 

Responsibilities: User experience, user interface design, character design, illustration, animation, branding, ukulele.

Poker Play!

Summary: I handled visual prototyping, illustration, and UX/UI tasks for this poker-themed casual game.

 

Responsibilities: User experience, user interface design, playing card design, illustration, animation, branding.

Penguins! Escape

Summary: I designed new interfaces, tutorials, and branding for this desktop title's first foray onto mobile.

Happy Matchy Bird

Summary: A few guys take one weekend to make a "Flappy" follow-up and have some laughs. I made all the art.

 

Responsibilities: User interface, illustration, animation, sound effects, gems, pipes, birds, and goats.
