The Job

Creative Director

2014 - 2016

I was hired by Geocaching HQ as the UX manager and tasked with supervising a small team of interaction designers (iOS, Android, web). As creative director I was responsible for all aspects of the design department, from physical merchandise to video production. Together we achieved record-level increases in site membership and a 35% improvement in customer engagement KPIs across web and mobile.

Summary: I guided a scrappy internal video production team, while directly contributing title treatments, branding, and motion graphics.

Summary: I oversaw the visioning and the production of a series of pro-tip videos for social media.

 

Responsibilities: Creative direction for video production team, titles, motion graphics, storyboarding, branding, and finger cutting.
